Keep bags, food, and valuables secured and avoid interacting directly with the monkeys, as they’re known to be opportunistic.

Getting There: Gibraltar is accessible by foot from the Spanish border, with taxis and cable cars available to take you up to the Upper Rock. The line for the cable car can be quite long on busy days but I recommend that over the taxis as the taxis get into traffic jams once they get up top. Purchase your cable car tickets ahead of time and it will save you some time in line.
Admission: Entrance fees vary depending on the attractions you wish to visit, with combination tickets available for major sites.
Safety: While the monkeys are a big draw, it’s essential to respect them as wild animals. Keep your distance, avoid making direct eye contact, and don’t bring out any food that might attract their attention.
